I am an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy at Brown University. My research focuses on metaphysics and the philosophy of science, especially the philosophy of physics. I am also interested in topics in epistemology, ethics, and the philosophy of language.

I received my PhD in Philosophy from the Department of Philosophy and Linguistics at MIT in May of 2012. Before coming to MIT, I studied Philosophy and Physics at Cornell University and Oxford University.

I spend most of my free time with these guys, doing things like this and this.

My office hours during the summer are by appointment (just send me an email to set up a time).
